What We Do

What kind of accounting and financial assistance are you looking for?

Full Service Tax Help
Families and individuals with incomes up to $56,000 may be eligible for our full service tax help. If so, we can work with you to prepare and file your federal, state, and local income tax returns, and to ensure you receive all of your federal and state Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC). If you struggle to make sense of your taxes, or if you worry that you may miss key refunds and credits, we’re here to help.

Self Service Tax Help
Learning to file taxes yourself can empower you to take better control of your personal and family finances. If you have access to a computer, then you can file your own taxes using the Free File program. Acquiring this skill will save you hundreds of dollars in filing fees, and there are no hidden costs. You can learn to use Free File on your own, or you can ask us for assistance.

Low Income Tax Clinic (LITC)

When a low-income individual has trouble with the IRS, finding appropriate representation in court can be a significant burden. We understand this, which is why we provide legal assistance to qualified individuals. If you are having trouble with an audit, a collection appeal, your payment agreement, levies, liens, identity theft, or other similar struggles, we can help. Our clinic is open year-round to all individuals who fit within the income ceiling for services.

Accounting Aid Academy

From managing sales taxes  to tracking the appropriate deductions for business expenditures, you have a lot to keep track of. We can help you make sense of the numbers so that you feel empowered to manage your business on firm financial footing.
