Each year, Accounting Aid Society prepares thousands of tax returns, secures millions of
dollars in refunds and credits to working families, and protects taxpayer rights through
expert IRS representation. Through our VITA program, Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC),
and Accounting Aid Academy, we provide free and low-cost tax services, resolve complex
tax disputes, and train the next generation of tax professionals — generating measurable
economic impact across the communities we serve.
