Tax Help - Full Service
Our Summer Tax Program Begins May 1

If you need quality, free tax preparation assistance, Accounting Aid Society is available to help year-round at one of our tax sites.

Eligibility for our free full service is based on annual household income:
-$50,000 or less for families
(A married couple or having more than one person in the home.)
-$35,000 or less for individuals
(If you are not working, you may still be eligible for some tax credits.)

Tax Help -  Self Service

Self service tax help is a do it yourself option with free tax software and free tax guidance through our tax hotline.

Eligibility for self-service tax help is available for a family or individual with a household income under $57,000.

Low Income Tax Clinic (LITC)

A year-round program with dual purposes of assistance and representation for low and moderate income households having tax controversies with the IRS, and English Second Language outreach and education for those whose primary language is not English.

Support Services

We can provide you with other financial resoucres, and link you to asset-building resources and benefits programs.

VITA Training

We offer our years of tax experience and expertise to train individuals and other organizations around the state who want to learn how to prepare taxes as Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteers.
