Accounting Aid Society was established in Detroit in 1972 by accountants who wanted to give back to the community. Since our founding, we have helped return more than $350 million to individuals and families in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Livingston counties, and in turn, into our region’s economy.
Accounting Aid Society is nationally recognized, and has been named a “Best-Managed Nonprofit” by Crain’s Detroit Business, and a Neighborhood Builder by Bank of America.
